December . . . so far

December has been a lot of fun and it there are still 6 days before Christmas. Here are some of the high points of our month.

We got our first skiff of snow in December and Quentin was so happy to stand in the gutter with his boots on.

A few days later it really snowed. School was cancelled, but work wasn't. The missionaries were kind and did some service for us. One act of service was clearing the driveway for a snow cave.

They helped Debbie and the boys build a snowman.

When Clayton and Tanner got out of hand, they buried them in a pile of snow. They are very helpful missionaries.

Debbie and I got to go to the Boise State v. Utah State game. Here are some pictures.

Thanks to Shane, we had great seats on the 35.

Austin in a nice hand-me-down suit. . . I think it was Brady's?

Tanner has been taking piano lessons since August. His first recital is coming up. I can't believe he can already play Jingle Bells and O Come All Ye Faithful and they actually sound like they are supposed to. Great job Amy & Tanner!

Clayton loves playing the keyboard. He plays DJ with the pre-programmed background songs and the other boys dance to the music and watch their reflections in the sliding door. It is hilarious.

Everyone is a little happier when Quentin is in his high chair.

Tanner tried out for and got a part in the 2nd grade "Christmas at the OK Corral" play/musical thing. He was the barber and wore that apron as his costume.

Tanner and Clayton are veteran's with the Santa visits. They told him what they wanted and then posed for the picture.

Austin carefully explained everything to the big man. . . .

Quentin thought he was a scary guy and just wanted down.

Every year my work has a Christmas party that we like to dress up for and go to. This year Debbie is modeling her new dress. I had a hard time picking just two pictures to put up.

She is beautiful.
