Disneyland

After driving all day on Saturday to reach Las Vegas, we arrived in Anaheim on Sunday afternoon in time to let the boys stretch their legs on the playground at the hotel.

Here we are starting our day at around 8:30 am.
The older boys really wanted to ride Star Tours so we went on that first.  We tried to sneak Quentin through but he was too short.  After he calmed down from missing that ride he saw these rockets and just had to ride them.  We took two turns while we waited for Debbie and the older boys to get finish Star Tours.
One of everyone's favorite rides was Autopia.  We were able to go twice in a row so both Austin and Clayton could drive with me and Tanner could double dip.

Shortly after lunch we went to the Jedi training.  Tanner was selected as "Number 9 for Boise State" and got to be one of the 20 kids to be Padawans.  Clayton was just a little jealous.
After learning a few light saber moves, Darth Vader and Darth Maul showed up to try and take some kids to the dark side.  Tanner got to "fight" against Darth Maul, he was pretty excited once that was over.

Towards the end of the night we watched the Fantasmic show. It was pretty impressive, here is a small video of the ending.  After the show, we went on a couple more rides (with no lines) and caught the bus back to to the hotel at around 11pm.  We then drove down to San Diego and made it to bed around 1am.

From our week in California, Disneyland was the thing that the boys talk about the most.  They had a lot of fun and can't wait to go back.  Debbie was so frustrated with waiting in lines for everything and she was disappointed that we only rode about 14 rides the entire day.
