First things first, after waiting years for a summer haircut Debbie finally got one. Looking back at this picture I forgot how long it really was.
For part of the fourth of July, Shane let us tear around a parking lot in his go kart. I took Austin & Quentin on my lap, but Tanner & Clayton were big enough to go by themselves. They took it pretty easy, which was a relief since that kart is pretty fast.
Slip n Slide day
This is the sunrise over St. Thomas. Debbie and I joined my brothers, their wives and my parents on a Caribbean cruise. We had a great time together and saw some beautiful things. We had to get up at around 6 am to get this sunrise shot, and although it looks peaceful, the wind on the top deck was about 30 mph.
On St. Maarten, we went on a ropes/zip line course. It was a lot of fun climbing through the trees and zipping through the air.
Over the summer we spent some time at the park . . . .
And the boys lost some teeth . . . .
We also threw in a camping trip for good measure. Because of the fires in the area we made a grand tour of central Idaho. We left Boise, went through Lowman to Stanley, to get to Redfish. Going home we went through Ketchum and across through Fairfield & Mountain Home.
Here is the first day of school, 4th grade for Tanner, 2nd grade for Clayton, and Kindergarten for Austin. Quentin was really sad that day and missed his brothers.
I took a work trip to Charlotte, and I believe these are the Tetons that we flew over. They are some of our favorite mountains.
Happy Birthday! The cake symbolizes the Flowrider, a standing wave surf machine on the cruise ship. Somewhere on YouTube there is a video of me on the Flowrider.
Nothing says fall like the corn maze/pumpkin patch/scary creature. The boys pulled out the monster faces for the scary monster.
In the corn.
Yesterday Brady was kind enough to take me to the BSU game. It was a lot of fun and we had some great seats.
