Demolition Derby

All growing up, Debbie was driven around in an old blue station wagon. There was a longtime discussion throughout her family that some day it would be entered into a demolition derby. Last night was that day, and her extended family gathered for the joyous event. The wagon put up a good fight and won its first heat. In the main event, a brutal head-on collision crippled the wagon before it finally finished in second place overall when it wouldn't start. Too bad that's not the end, after some checking, Debbie's dad and brother found that there was a shorted wire that burned out the "on" switch for the car. By this afternoon they had replaced the part and the wagon still runs. For its final performance the wagon will be part of the Caribou County Fair parade both down and back again.
