Considering he was sick all day he was happy at his party!
All week Tanner was talking about Claytons birthday. He had Clayton sooo excited. On Friday morning Tanner woke up chanting, "Tomorrow's your birthday!". They were both so disappointed when we had to postpone the little kid party we had planned. Tanner did bounce back fast, and helped make his birthday really fun. What a great big brother!
Clayton was so excited to see uncle Phil and aunt Brooke, because he didn't know they were coming, it was really cute!
We have a tradition in our house that on Birthdays we each decorate the paper that wraps the gift we bought. This is how daddy decorated his. He is such an artist. Mine isn't on here because I am not a good artist:)!
So much love for a cute little three year old!
Tanner really enjoyed doing heavy heavy hangover on Clayton, but after each time Clayton ended up rubbing sore his head.
Tanner trying out Clayton's new toys and lovin' it!
Clayton loves making pirate sounds. Aarg!!!

Looks like he finally got to celebrate his birthday after all. But I'm sure it was worth waiting for. It sounds like they had a lot of fun.

I'm curious about your heavy hangover game. How do you play?
Heavy Heavy Hangover. Whomever is having a birthday, sits in a chair or wherever. One by one as each gift is given the person giving the gift stands behind and says "Heavy heavy hangover thy poor dome what do you wish this redeemer with a bump on the head." Then you bump them on the head. (hopefully lightly). At this point the one receiving the gift makes a wish for the person(s) giving the gift.
Happy Birthday, buddy. You are getting so big. Sorry you are sick, get better soon and come see us before you are too big for Uncle Carl to wrestle with you. Hee hee We love you!
